What We Do

Members of our group attend meetings, take field trips to places such as the Purdue University School of Aviation Technology, air traffic control facilities, aviation related museums, air shows, etc.

Recently, the group went on a ride with the 434th Air refueling wing at Grissom Air Reserve Base in a KC-135 Stratotanker. The flight was a little over 2 and a half hours long and consisted of refueling practice over Illinois and Missouri with a B-2 stealth bomber from the 509th bomb wing at Whitman AFB. This was a great opportunity for members of the club to see first-hand what military aviation is like.
